The first in a complete line of upcoming cross-format plug-ins is the acclaimed AVA Mastering EQ that is from today, now available at pro audio resellers and music stores globally.

Nashville, Tennessee based company Harrison Consoles, manufacturer of large-format, professional audio mixing consoles for international film and television production, post-production, broadcasting, sound reinforcement and music recording markets, and Plugivery, a leading audio software and Virtual Instrument distributor are proud to announce their partnership making available Harrison’s acclaimed AVA Mastering EQ in all plug-in formats (AAX, AU and VST) for global resale.

What is the AVA Mastering EQ?

The AVA Mastering EQ is explicitly designed for the task of mastering mixes. When 2 adjacent bands of the AVA-ME are adjusted, the resultant curve is “flat” across the band edges, rather than discrete humps and valleys. The resulting curves are perfectly suited for the broad, musical changes needed for final tone-control while retaining the harmonic balance between the elements of your mix. Managing a powerful full-range EQ has never been so fast and easy. The results are quintessentially “Harrison”: effortless, smooth and transparent.

The AVA Mastering EQ is the first in line of a new cross-format plug-in range from Harrison which supports the following platforms and formats:

AAX : Mac, Windows
VST3 : Mac, Windows
VST : Mac, Windows, Linux
AudioUnit : Mac

Everyone needs a mastering EQ. As the final step of the production chain, the mastering EQ provides a chance to tweak the tone of the mix after you’ve established a relative balance for the individual instruments. The AVA Mastering EQ features a revolutionary filter shape that is explicitly designed for mastering your tracks. Unlike a conventional EQ, when adjacent bands of the AVA Mastering EQ are adjusted, the response is "flat" between the band edges. This preserves the relative harmonic balance of the instruments in your mix while adjusting the overall tonality. The AVA Mastering EQ is optimized for small, wide-bandwidth adjustments.

Controlling the AVA Mastering EQ is easy and intuitive: just click and drag your mouse to draw the EQ shape that you need. Managing a powerful, full-range EQ has never been so fast and easy. The results are quintessentially "Harrison": effortless, smooth and transparent.

AVA Mastering EQ Features:

31 control bands, high pass filter, low pass filter, adjustable filter order, level trim, and momentary bypass controls.
Innovative DSP curve-match allows a "flat top" across adjacent band boost/cuts, and preserves the harmonic balance between instruments.
Ultra-fidelity equalizer is based on Harrison's XTools: plug-ins developed for Harrison’s renowned digital consoles.
