Voxengo offers you high quality professional audio plugins: VST plugins and AU plugins (AudioUnits), and sample rate converters, for Windows and Mac OS X computers.
Voxengo is pleased to release TEQ-421, freeware equalizer plugin for professional music production applications, available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats, for macOS and Windows computers.
TEQ-421 is freeware equalizer plug-in for professional music production applications. This equalizer features only three bands (Triple EQ), finely tuned to deliver good results in many cases, thus being extremely easy to use. Beside this, the plug-in features internal non-parametric harmonic coloration modules (derived from HarmoniEQ plug-in) that produce a smooth saturation and a “presence” effect.
The frequencies of the bands were carefully selected and are not adjustable. These frequencies target specific frequencies that affect sound’s perception the most. The best use-case for this plug-in is equalization of unprocessed acoustical recordings that usually lack in modern balance of low, mid, and high frequencies.
The plug-in is equally useful on individual tracks, groups, and master bus. It was designed by tuning to a set of various sound sources, including vocals, acoustic guitars, drums, basses, and full mixes.

Hello, dear Voxengo users, this is Aleksey Vaneev talking.
As you may know, Elephant and some other Voxengo products since some time feature PRVHASH dithering noise generator invented by myself. Recently, I've developed it so far that I've seemingly broke into some "backdoor" in mathematics itself. The meaning of this finding is questionable, and I'm actually not pushing any specific meaning on anyone, but making my own personal conclusions (otherwise it's hard to know what to look for if one is unexperienced in these matters). The finding, the program, and conclusions, and the looks of the "backdoor" are presented here:
I just wanted to share my astonishment and satisfaction with the results of this work that took much more of my time than I had wished for. The PRVHASH itself is just a good white noise generator, so you do not have to worry about any other information its development has brought, it's not a miracle nor magic, but something pre-existent that only waited for a moment to be discovered. Any comments and questions are welcome.

Voxengo is happy to announce the release of SPAN Plus version 1.19 - an extended real-time “fast Fourier transform” audio spectrum analyzer plug-in for professional music and audio production applications. SPAN Plus is available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats, for macOS and Windows computers.
SPAN Plus is an extended version of the freeware SPAN plug-in: SPAN Plus provides several additional features such as PNG file export, real-time spectrum import/export, static spectrums display, and a “wide” spectrum display.
Version 1.19 is a maintenance (codebase sync) release.
SPAN Plus provides you with a very flexible “mode” system which you can use to setup your spectrum analyzer preferences. You may specify Fourier block size in samples, FFT window overlap percentage, spectrum's visual slope. Beside that you can choose to display secondary spectrum of a desired type (e.g. real-time maximum, all-time maximum). Spectrum can be smoothed out visually for an easier examination.
SPAN Plus supports multi-channel analysis and can be set to display spectrums from two different channels or channel groups at the same time. Spectrum's color can be chosen to taste.
SPAN Plus also features output level metering with adjustable ballistics and integration time, K-metering (including calibration K-metering). SPAN Plus displays level metering statistics, headroom estimation and clipping detection. Correlation metering is available as well.

Voxengo is happy to announce the release of r8brain PRO version 2.10 - a professional sample rate converter tool software designed to deliver an unprecedented sample rate conversion (SRC) quality. r8brain PRO is available for 64-bit Windows and macOS computers.
Version 2.10 includes the following changes:
r8brain PRO is a professional sample rate converter tool software designed to deliver an unprecedented sample rate conversion (SRC) quality. Unlike other existing SRC algorithms available on the market, r8brain PRO implements sample rate conversion processing in its full potential: interpolation and decimation steps without exploiting any kind of simplifications; the signal is resampled in a multi-step manner using a series of intermediate sample rates based on whole-numbered up/down factors. This makes conversion perfect – both in signal-to-noise and timing precision aspects. Such whole number-factored SRC can be considered a golden standard in sample rate conversion as it is not subject to jitter nor timing errors.
Like many existing SRC algorithms, r8brain PRO offers you a linear-phase conversion mode. But more importantly, you also have an option of using the minimum-phase conversion mode, which finally brings SRC with true analog qualities to affordable digital audio workstations: in this mode, r8brain PRO works like an ideal digital-to-analog converter followed by an analog-to-digital converter to resample the audio. This eliminates pre-ringing associated with linear-phase designs, while introducing a minimal amount of phase coloration.
r8brain PRO can read mono, stereo and multi-channel files in WAV, RF64, Wave64, and AIFF file formats, creating 16-, 24-, and 32-bit mono, stereo and multi-channel WAV (RF64) files in fixed- and floating-point formats. EBU BWF (broadcasting) extensions, extensible wave format, markers, sample loops and textual data residing inside the file are also supported. For the sake of convenience, r8brain PRO allows you to perform multi-threaded batch conversions that utilize the full potential of your computer.
r8brain PRO's bit-depth conversion uses an industry-standard “flat” TPDF dithering. We have decided not to implement noise-shaping dithering because audio production software available on the market usually offers the user a noise-shaping dithering of some kind already (you can also use our Elephant plug-in for this feature). We also based our decision on the fact that the sample rate conversion process often adjusts peak profile of the original program material, thus, in many cases, making a subsequent peak-limiting a necessity. To prevent output audio from clipping we have implemented a level normalization feature.

Voxengo is happy to release TEOTE version 1.10, an automatic spectral balancer plugin for professional music production applications, available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 plugin formats, for macOS and Windows computers. TEOTE was designed to be a very useful tool for both mixing and mastering. It automatically performs such tasks like gentle resonances taming, de-essing, tilt equalizing, usually performed during mixing and mastering. In mixing, TEOTE sounds good on pretty much any material.
The list of changes in this version:
The “C/S/F” selector adjusts envelope follower’s topology. While the numerical modes adjust timings, this selector specifies structure (or schematic) of the envelope follower that produces a dynamic envelope. The “C” mode is a “classic” topology first introduced in TEOTE 1.0. The “S” mode is a symmetric topology which is similar to the “C” topology, but with some of its boost-cut asymmetries removed. This is now a default mode as it produces a comparably less “muffled” sound; however, this mode may require a lower “Slope” setting since it sounds brighter. Compared to the “C” topology, the “S” topology produces fewer low-frequency overshoots and has a more pronounced mid-frequencies, but it sounds less “vintage”, subjectively. The “F” topology implements a filter-like schematic which works as a low-pass filter, without attack-release switching logic. This topology usually sounds overly snappy and “in your face”, so adjustments of the “Base Atk” and “FX” parameters may be required; this mode does not require the “Base Rls” parameter.
While by definition TEOTE is a dynamic equalizer, its technology is solely based on multi-band dynamics processing. This allows TEOTE to have only minor phase issues, and to produce a subtle transient-emphasis effect associated with dynamics processing. TEOTE tries to make the program material follow the specified spectral profile, tuned to the contemporary mastering standards by default. It can be said that TEOTE “straightens” the frequency response, making further adjustments a lot easier; it removes a lot of repeating work.
“TEOTE” is an acronym for “That’s Easier On The Ear”. TEOTE is a serious contender in helping bring your music production to the next level!

Voxengo Elephant version 5.0 is now available for download and purchase. Voxengo Elephant is a mastering limiter plugin for professional audio and sound production applications, available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats, for macOS and Windows computers.
New in version 5.0:
The “EL-5” algorithm introduced in Elephant version 5 takes the best from “EL-4” and classic “AIGC” algorithms. The “EL-5” is not as loud and “hard” as the “EL-4” algorithm, but it is much more precise than “AIGC” algorithms while producing an alike smooth sound. This algorithm better retains dynamical structure of the program material while at the same time adds a unique “sparkling and fresh mojo” to the resulting sound. This algorithm is responsive to the “Timing” and “Rls/Atk Ratio” parameters that can be adjusted to tune the algorithm further.
Note that the upgraded version can be demoed without losing previous version's authorization: simply install the new version over an existing version. If the new version does not "click", you may reinstall a previous version back, in-place.
Voxengo Elephant is a mastering limiter plug-in for professional music production applications. The most remarkable feature of this signal limiter is its sonic transparency. Elephant brings sound limiting and loudness maximization without audible “fuzz” and “pumping” sonic artifacts.
Elephant is a highly competitive plug-in for mastering applications: it features a variety of limiter modes that can be deeply customized, and a comprehensive set of level metering tools, including headroom estimation, EBU R128 and K-system metering. Elephant's built-in linear-phase oversampling is an important element in achieving high-quality peak limiting and loudness maximization without inter-sample overshoots (true-peak limiting).
Elephant limiter can be used for mixing and mastering of both stereo and multi-channel music and sound material, at any standard sample rate. Limiting process can be visualized both as gain reduction meter and real-time waveform graph.
Elephant, also featuring a DC offset filter, and a high-quality bit-depth converter with an optional noise-shaping, allows you to finish your music and audio productions with a spark!
Elephant version 5 is a free upgrade to Premium Membership owners. Owners of previous Elephant versions can upgrade the license to version 5 for US$49.95. The upgrade is free if a previous version was purchased in the recent 180 days. Demo version of Voxengo Elephant can be downloaded at the Voxengo web site: https://www.voxengo.com/product/elephant/Read More
Voxengo is happy to announce the release of Spatifier v1.8, a “mono to stereo” spatial enhancer plugin for professional sound and music production applications, available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats, for macOS and Windows computers.
This version features the following changes. It is suggested that you re-evaluate the plugin due to these improvements; if you didn't like the sound you got before, you may change your opinion about Spatifier now.
Spatifier is a “mono to stereo” spatial enhancer effect AAX, AudioUnit, and VST plugin for professional sound and music production applications. This plugin can be effectively used to turn mono tracks into spatially-enhanced stereo tracks: it works great for clean and distorted guitars, synth instruments, piano, organ, back vocals, and other sounds. Beside that, Spatifier can be used to “densify” the sound of reverb sends, and to add “body” to thin and flat sounds.
Spatifier decorrelates the signal in the left and right channels while retaining the “mono compatibility”. Such decorrelation creates the “as wide as possible” surround effect. This effect can be usually used in place of double-tracking technique. The spatial impression can be adjusted in the range from the “in your face”, direct, to a more distant, room sound.
Spatifier achieves its result by first designing a complex impulse response that is then used by its internal convolution processor. The impulse response is defined by means of graphic equalizer-like controls (which can be adjusted in a freehand mode with the right mouse button). This makes it possible to set the spatial effect for each frequency band individually. In many practical cases Spatifier adds a great deal of warmness and enriches the timbre of the sound being processed.

Voxengo is pleased to release Shumovick 2.0, a creative dynamic noise-padding effect plugin for professional music production applications, available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST and VST3 plug-in formats, for macOS and Windows computers.
Shumovick is a renamed and improved version of CRTIV Shumovick. It features the following changes:
Shumovick plug-in for professional music production applications produces a creative dynamic noise-padding effect. This effect is most effective on beats and synth sounds used in electronic music production: EDM, hip-hop, and many others. The noise-padding effect created by this plug-in is correlated to the spectral content of the sound being processed.
As a result, on beats, this creates mellow noise bursts that make bassdrum sounds a lot softer, with a bit of stereo-field enhancement effect. On synths, on the other hand, such noise-padding effect may boost the power and density of the sound. Shumovick can be also effective when used on sterile-sounding basslines where it can add a bit of “pillowy” noise background. In practice, Shumovick can be also used on acoustic drum buses adding “vintage” feel and aggression to them. When used on a full mix lightly, Shumovick can add a slight “vintage” feel to the sound, make it slightly rougher, and add a stereo-widening effect: this is reminiscent of what a reel-to-reel tape and vinyl recording media does to the sound, naturally.
Shumovick is a relatively CPU-demanding effect plug-in, so it requires a higher-end computer processor for a comfortable use. However, the CPU requirements can be lowered by adjusting plug-in’s processing band count.
Shumovick is available for purchase online for US$49.95. Shumovick is free for Premium Membership owners. Discontinued CRTIV Shumovick can be upgraded to Shumovick for US$9.95. 20% OFF sale is currently in effect! Demo version of Shumovick can be downloaded freely at the Voxengo web site: https://www.voxengo.com/product/shumovick/Read More
Voxengo is happy to release Sobor, a lush and wide stereo reverberation effect plug-in for professional music production applications, available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats, for macOS and Windows computers.
Sobor is a rebranded and vastly improved version of CRTIV Reverb. It features the following changes:
Sobor is a stereo reverberation effect AU, AAX, and VST plug-in for professional music production applications. This reverb plug-in provides a wide palette of reverb spaces while requiring only a minimal effort to obtain useful results. The tails created by this reverb are very dense and produce a well-defined spatialization. Since the reverb uses a kind of “true-stereo” algorithm the panned sounds receive a good stereo field placement. We believe Sobor provides one of the lushest and widest reverb tails available on the market.
The early reflections placement and reverb levels are chosen automatically based on a pre-defined model that depends on the “Size” and “Ambience” parameters. Additionally, the user may specify the “Pre-Delay” and “Stereo width” parameters. Sobor is technically based on Feedback Delay Networks (FDNs) with the Hadamard matrix, and uses self-modulation techniques.
Sobor is great on any sound sources: vocals, synths, drums, mixes. This reverb is a relatively CPU-demanding effect (it takes 7.5% of a single core of i7-7700K processor, at 44100 sample rate), for comfortable use it requires a higher-end processor.
Sobor is available for purchase for US$59.95. Sobor is free for Premium Membership owners. Discontinued CRTIV Reverb can be upgraded to Sobor for US$19.95. 20% OFF sale is currently in effect! Demo version of Sobor can be downloaded freely at the Voxengo website: https://www.voxengo.com/product/sobor/Read More
